retrofit command
I really want to install a command system in my 2000 clk 430
has anyone here done this? i need to know where i can buy all the needed material for the installation. I can buy the command unit by itself for a really good price i just do not know how hard it will be to connect everything. i also do not know what parts are needed.
any help would be appreciated

Search dude, very well covered topic. It's been done, it's not plug and play, you're honestly better off going aftermarket double-din.... But it is possible if you really want to. Requires the correct command unit, a conversion wire harness that's pretty pricey, cutting the center divider out of the double din slot.
