2000 CLK 320 Cabriolet Bose Head Unit Problems
I have a problem that i cant seem to solve on my clk 320 with bose. I looked online but could find any answers. This is my first time posting here. Any ideas what could be wrong with my factory radio or wiring that would cause the dash to show "----" under audio? The steering controls will not work for the radio. Also the radio wont turn on and off with the car and has to be done manually. I tried swapping out the radio with a new one but that didn't fix the problem. I also took out the instrument cluster and checked the connections in the back. The steering controls still work for everything but the radio. Its like the radio isn't communicating with the car. Thanks for any suggestions.

After looking through the paperwork it looks like Mercedes Dealership installed a Becker aftermarket replacement for a faulty unit with a CD player instead of cassette. But I would think this aftermarket would be close to OEM with functionality.
