due for A Service!
Since my post was deleted, i guess i'll just post it again. my car is due in for a "A Service" soon, does anyone from the bay area recommend any dealerships in the SF area or the bay area. any chances the dealership would include a loaner car too. Thanks!

i have taken my car to SMYTHE European the last 2 A services and the last B service. After my last experience there, I will NEVER bring my car to that ****hole. They really do NOT listen to their customers , and do the very minumum amount of work for the most amount of money. I brought my car to Autobahn Motors in San Mateo and it was a totally different experience..... service advisors willing to listen, nice loaner cars, and a much more comfortable experience. Again, SMYTHE EUROPEAN SUCKS A$$!!!!

Autobahn Motors did NOT charge for the loaner car. They were first going to give me a C coupe, but I refused. After my advisor looked a bit harder, he found a ML320 w/ only 6 miles as a loaner car. I thought that was really cool....driving a brand new ML (even though it was slow as a turtle...lol)

Smythe has been OK by me...
They have taken care of my CLK55 (40k miles now, 2 A and 2 B services) and prior to that an E420 I had for 5 years and 75k miles. They always have given me a loaner car when my car was staying overnight, usually various C class cars but once an ML430, and never charged me.
To date the only thing I have paid for on the CLK55 was a new set of front brake pads. The basic MBZ warranty pkg has covered everything else.
Incidentally, my car came from Autobahn Motros too. I bought it with 3k miles on it off a dot.com investor that got over extended.
I really cannot say a bad thing about Smythe. Others may have had different experiances, of course.

i'm in the LA area, but this is the policy in regards to loaner cars: as long as you are there for warranty service, you will get a free courtesy car.
but then again, my service advisor gives me a courtesy car even when I bring in my car for a detail job. so, it really depends on your service advisor sometimes...
