Torque value for belt tensioner?

Replacing an old style tensioner, idle pulley and belt. Idle pulley self destructed had to tow home. Had thr parts already but what is the correct torque values for the pulley and tensioner bolts? Dont want to over do it or make it too loose.

Thanks

You do not have to torque anything as it is self torquing. The older M103 engines had a torque indicator on the tensioner itself.

Attaching the unit to the engine - torque bolts to about 22 Nm

Excellent thread here http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w208...tensioner.html
