Odometer display works intermittently
The odometer display on my 1999 CLK350 works intermittently. Everything else on the dash seems to work fine. Sometimes the display shows line as seen in the picture below. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

Hm, I've heard of and experienced myself the clock and gear selector pixels dying but not the odo display. Options are to fix the wiring ribbon (there's instructions on here to DIY or have BBA Reman do it for you) or just straight out cluster replacement.
Couldn't tell you if the odo is due to a different (or same?) ribbon or possibly just cluster lighting -- hopefully someone else chimes in...
