CLK430 Cabriolet rear window 'surround' broken. Replaceable?

This is a decade long thread but still active, searching for a workaround if not a part!
Any updates on hacks? or sources?
I don't find any replacement frame available anywhere. Maybe the only option is one of the complete replacement tops with the window already installed.
I am also wondering if there is enough demand to have my CompSci son scan and print on one of his two set-ups . Maybe only one color which could be paint coated. If you are in need, as am I, respond to this idea. Enuff interest and it could be done.
(Also, I am not sure if all W208 Cabs use the same frame. There may have been an update between '01 and '02.)
