Lookng for DIY for Front & rear spings w208

The rears are dead easy and you can remove the springs in 10 mins with the removal of 1 bolt from the arm, use a ratchet strap when re-fitting across the arms to help aligned the bolt back up by bringing in the arms. I must have changed my rears about 8 times until I was happy with the height , adusting the pad thickness etc.
For the fronts you really need to use a spring compressor for mercedes that fits through the hole on the front arm and then is fitted with two discs to compress the spring. I actually did my fronts with the clamp on spring compressor that you tighten up, but its risky and is very tight to work.
PS Make sure you get a 4 wheel alignement done after you touch anything on the suspension especially the front as your tires will wear out fast !
Hope this helps.
