CLK tips?
i recently just purchased a customized exhaust but the only problem i have is the company i went thru had only one clk tip and they told me they would order the other one for me but im tired of relying on this company so the question is can i have the part number for the chrome sport tip? how much are they?

just call up a local dealer. have them look up the part # for you. I believe every CLK430 comes standard w/ the AMG package, so just ask for the exhaust tip off a 99-2002 W208 CLK430. If you need help w/ this, just e-mail me, i'll get it for you.

i just looked up formymercedes.com and i looked at the clk tips but they only had the clk 320 tip listed and that seemed little bit too long compared to my tip. is the 430 tip a tad bit shorter?

k im clueless when it comes to car parts so all i need is just the tip because i am welding it on to the exhaust pipe. i know there has to be a part # for this tip because the tip is a factory tip from mb . so maybe i can get some more opinions thanks

hey. i just called a local mercedes dealer and asked for the part number for an AMG exhaust tip. The ******* that was helping me told me that they aren't sold separately. I told him i didn't think that was true. Then he asked me for my VIN number so he could check. SO, imma run downstairs, get the vin number, and call him back.....

last week i stop by penske motors to see if they had the tip and the guy that worked there was dumb so he was no help and on display at penske i saw my same exact tip there but it was a amg because it said "AMG" on the tip.. the amg tip was being sold for 240 i believe

okay....here's the sitaution. I just got off the phone w/ a parts manager at a local Mercedes dealer. He looked for a very long time, and told me he couldn't find anything. But then he found a tip that was black (that was NOT AMG). then he looked in an older parts book and found a chrome tip, however, it does NOT have AMG stamped on it. That one was priced at $206.00. All you gotta do is call up a local dealer. I don't think it is worth it. Take the advice of many, and just browse EBAY.
