Transmission problem at low speed (99, 320)

Transmission problem at low speed (99, 320)
Anyone experience trouble with the transmission at low speed deceleration? Particularly after letting off on the gas and when the transmission has heavy load from decelerating (more pronounced when going down hill). The transmission feels like it's banging into first and sometimes feels like I hit a curb or someone hit me from behind.
Let me know if you had this fixed and what dealer did the work. I've complained several times to several dealers and have had no action other than resetting trany learn mode.

2002 Capri Blue CLK Cab
99 CLK Trans problem
Before I sold my 99 Azure Blue CLK and I had the same problem. Whenever I slowed down the trans downshifted and it banged really hard. I was worried about it and when I took it to the dealer they told me that it was normal and not to worry about it. I sold the car 3 months ago and the new buyer hasn't had any problems so I guess it isn' a big deal.

clk 320 1999
Had the same problem 99 320 with about 42,000 miles. Auto Stiegler the dealer in Encino,Ca. replaced my transmission. It was about 1 month ago. So far, so good. Did not have to complain. Their tech drove the car and decided to replace it!

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 98 ML320. IT BANGS INTO THE GEAR REALLY HARD AND YOU CAN REALLY FEEL IT ON YOUR FEET. I WAS GONNA BRING IT TO THE DEALER AND HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT. I HAVE ASKED SOMEONE ABOUT THE PROBLEM ONLINE AND THEY SAID IT COULD BE THE TRANFER CASE FROM WEAR AND TEAR. AND HE SAID ITS COSTLY. AROUND $110 FOR THE CASE. SO IM NOT EVEN GONNA BOTHER. IM JUST GONNA TRADE IT IN OR SELL THIS DAMN TRUCK AND GET A CLK.
