Please help w/used CLK 320 pricing
My girlfriend is looking for a 2001 or 2002 CLK 320 coupe that has less than 25k miles on it. Yes, we live in SoCal, and I know that prices here are inflated when compared to everywhere else in the country. But for a minimally optioned car (CD changer, K3 package, possibly K4), what is a fair price to pay for the car? I've seen cars with all but the COMAND system for $35-$39k, but I know that there are people out there who have gotten better prices than this. Help a guy out, please.
Thanks,
John

2000 CLK320 Coupe - Clean title, 36,100 miles for $28,388 Buy-It-Now

as you can see, if you can get a MY '01 CLK320 coupe for $30,850... I'm sure you can get a 2002 model for about $35,000...
just be careful about buying cars in Texas... which unfortunately, is where most of these are listed...

2002 CLK320 Coupe
I bought a 2002 CLK320 w/9K miles on it in May for $37K. I found the ad on Autotrader.com and bought it from a Ford Dealer in Marin county. The car had some options, sunroof, heated seats, xenon lights, headlight washer, rear windshade, AMG wheels, some fancy tires (Dayton Daytona ZR) but no CD changer. The car was purchased in Mar '02 and has the factory warranty left.
I have heard that prices have firmed up a little recently, but keep looking.
