Thanks for the compliment, LuckyCLK. Very cool ride yourself.
I bought the Lorinser kit consisting of the front bumper, a pair of side skirts and a rear bumper for the equivalent of US$2800 in Singapore. Not too sure of the price of the front bumper alone, but I think it should be in the region of 1300?
They came unpainted.
If you think that's a good price, I can talk to the shop to see if they can ship over.
I thought about the roof spoiler as well but I like the smooth clean line of the roof, so no spoiler for now. Now that the car is all done up, I am twiddling my thumbs wondering what to mod next.
It's funny that someone actually offered me a set of Carlsson wheels just like yours before I got the Lorinsers. I declined because they looked a bit worn out as they had been on his w210 for a while.
By the way, the NSX looks awesome as well.

Are you sure that you got a real Lorinser kit and not a replica? Cause $1300 is a real good price...

Heeman is right
The full Lorinser kit is around US$3000 where as here in the states it seems to be around US$5000 which seems like a rip off.
Heeman did you get the kit at Interbenz? I live in Singapore too but study in America

Yeah, I got the set at Benzline. Their Singapore local retail company is Benzline. Interbenz I think is their export arm, and they do export a large quantity to Indonesia.
I am sure they are the genuine article. They all came in sealed Lorinser boxes and the company is a respectable business. The boss was previously driving a fully kitted Lorinser CL500, but I think he may have changed to as S-class now. They also import small numbers of MB, the last time I was at their new shop, there was a c32 AMG.
I can certainly check with them about the exact price and exporting to the USA. I think there is a slightly different version for the USA where the impact strip runs continuously from side to side without a break in the middle for the licence plate?

The NSX is indeed one of those timeless japanese classic cars (if there is such a thing).... except, I can't help to think that the car itself is not worth that hefty of a price tag... especially considering that it is technically, a HONDA...
I have nothing against Honda, I've had a few in my days, it just seems odd to pay $80-90,000 for a Honda NSX...

Just hang in there. Going to be out of town for a day.
Will check prices of front DTM bumper when I get back.
I thought I'd post a reply so that this thread stays on page 1 and doesn't get lost.

mmgrad, there is no mistaking it, it IS a HONDA NSX!!!! Just check all the windows, you will find at each corner it is printed"HONDA"
That was what put me off too, paying $80+ for a Honda... That's why I bought my Lotus, even if it does use Toyoa Corolla brake lights.....

only worthy change was the engine bump back in 96/97?
But dam, that thing still turns heads after so many years... and I love every single color that it comes in (silver, blue, black are my fav in that order)

i think there were 3 generation engines for the NSX, as I had a 98' which had the 3.2L 290 HP ... the 1st generation was from 91-94....then from 95-97 i believe. I didn't buy mine brand new, as I couldn't see myself paying $88K + tax/license + luxury tax, so I picked up mine 2 years old w/ 8000 miles for 62K back in 2000. Great car.

Bad news guys.
The DTM bumper does cost about US$1400 in Singapore but it would cost nearly US$600 for air freight, making it almost 2k in total, much the same as what it would in the US.
Shipping would be cheaper but it would take weeks to arrive.
You could, however, come over for a vacation and fly one back as check-in baggage.
So you can have your vacation and your bumper too!
