BAS and ABS warning

2003 ML500, 2012 E550
BAS and ABS warning
After charging my battery and starting my CLK, the ABS and BAS light came on. After a short while the warning lights went out and the dash no longer states that there are 2 malfunctions. Is this something relating to the voltage not being high enough or is there a problem?

Hi,
Looks like it could be battery related. If the battery's been disconnected whilst you charged it, the lights will deffo be on and can usually be reset by turning the wheel lock to lock with you foot on the brake and engine idling. The speed sensing system is running live all the time so it'll only switch the lights off if everything is ok so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
