2000 CLK 430 miles to empty dash display?

Hello all. Just a quick question about miles to empty display on the instrument cluster. Are we supposed to have it?

My owners manual says yes, never noticed I didnt until recently. My ML 350 has it, my C240 has it and again my owners manual says I have it. It even shows me how to find it but it is not there. The book doesnt have an * by the miles to empty indicating it may not be available in some models, etc. so I think it should be there.

I am not new to Mercedes or how to use the cluster, I use the display cluster all the time to cycle through different things soooooooooo.

Do we have it?
Did the feature skip 2000? If so why does the book say I have it?
Can you post a quick vid of yours? I can post a vid of mine if need be.
Thanks.

Interesting, so you don't even have the MPG screen showing up.... Hmm.... Generally that's how you get to it, it should have a screen that says "After Start" then give you average speed, MPG, run time. then you use the up / down arrows to scroll to "Tank Contents" and "Range".... "Range" gives you distance until empty, however you do seem to be missing that section.

Yeah- saw in my owners manual that I should have it and I'm pretty sure I remembered seeing it before. Maybe a fuse is out that reads the info or a sensor is bad.

4sure a page is missing. More of a thats weird than anything else at this point. I guess I'll have the dealer look at it since I'm not sure an indi would know where to look. Not a priority for me to do this now, I have others things to work on first but probably something in the gas tank sends the info. My gas gauage works just fine so I dunno here.

Anyway thanks for taking the time to reply! I thought many would chime in on this but I guess this does not happen much.

Best wishes.
