Well, lets say for up to this stage, about $12,000 US. My friend did all the work at his shop here in Vancouver BC. The doors took 2 guys 3 days to get right. And then the little problems with the doors postponed the completion of the car, otherwise it would have been done a lot sooner.

The custom body kit seems creative also, the rear bumper is good but the front isn't my style. I like the drop on the car and the rims work out well with the car. I still wonder though how it is to open the car upwards? I would think that its pretty heavy. Maybe pics of a person getting out both the regular way and the 'new' way would be interesting. IMHO
There are no problems opening and closing from the oustide, but opening the door from the inside requires a little work and strength. We are working on fitting another door handle somewhere near the speaker in the door panel to make it easier.

Third, I noticed that its dropped more in the back than the front, curious, is it to balance the kit, in other words, so it won't scrape as much? I only ask because my kit is as low as yours and I was thinking of doing that,(dropping the back more)

PS the ride looks hot especially with the dual exhaust.
Getting in and out isn't really a problem unless you are over 6' tall. They are heavy when you are opening from the inside mainly because you really have no leverage and where the factory door handle is doesn't really give you any help at all.

In the pictures, the car is parked half on the driveway and half off. I think this is making it look like the back is lower, but it really isnt. I like your opera kit, I want to put that on my cab

Haven't tried yet, but I'm pretty sure that the clearance will be fine. Will try and get back to you

Well, you can see in the pics where the doors are opened to the side, that is how far they open now. You can just slide in there.

The kit was made on a partial amg front bumer so that it would mount properly

That's pimp, bro! The path you're taking is much better than the brabus/carlsson/lorinser cars you see out on the street.

What wheels are you planning to get?

Slap on some nice japanese wheels and your car will have no equal

WOW. That is impressive. Congrats the project looks great.

I'm from the 604 area as well and I didn't think that anyone in the area had the talent to do this type of work. What is the name of the shop that did the work for you? Did they also do the kit or was that someone else?

Thanks. Again your car is just

The shops name is Autoline Collision. He does really good work. The kit was made mostly by him and he will be producing these kits, but I think for more of a direct bolt on application.

Heh, thanks. The doors aren't quite level, you are correct. Good eyes you have. The front bumper looks really good in person nd I have no compaints. The rear bumper gets a little too narow at the bottom, but once again being handmade, no complaints.

For wheels, I will probabl be getting the one pictured above. I don't really have time to get any other ones right now. The show is on the 20th. this wheel isn't bad, I think it has a 3" lip.

The ones in your picture are the Lowenhart Br5's. The one's I'm planning to get are ADR Sterlings. They look the same, but the ADR's do not have the rivets along the inside of the dish.
