Soft top cables
I have been told on this forum that the cables that stop the top from banging down usually break. Mine have for awhile now and finally ready to fix them. I have searched this forum but can not find any instructions or pics on this. If someone can guide me in the right direction before I accidentally tear the top I would appreciate it.
Thanks

If you follow that thread you should be able to fix your cable tops without having to replace them. I replaced mine last year when i got the car and one of them snapped again a few weeks ago.
I don't have any pictures on how i fixed it. but i can tell you what i did.
first thing i did was remove the black plastic cover/clip that the cable sits in. I then passed the cable through the hole on the metal bar. I took a thick sized bolt drilled a hole through it, i had one nut on top of the hole and one underneath i passed the wire through the hole and tightened the nuts nice and tight.
The top works perfectly and better then ever.
