How interesting to read everyone's assumptions as to how this occurred. since i was there and am the one that took these pictures, let me explain what i know about it...
first off, the car didn't fall off a transport truck! the driver (who just bought the car from us about a month ago) was coming off the freeway right on his way to our service department and, according to his statement, hit the throttle instead of the brake as he started to turn into the gate. my guess is that he was going at least 85mph when he hit the curb and, in turn, part of a guard rail (more on that later) and some freaky way got that GS430 airborne!
to the one previous poster who mentioned the lone ES300 with the back window blown out: very observant! this was caused by the 800-900 pound section of the above mentioned guard rail when it finally landed about 100' from point of impact. this guard rail than flip up and hit the back of a customers mini-van that was parked in front of the dealership about another 20' away.
all told we had 6 vehicles that were total losses and another 12 that will require various levels of repair. total damage is estimated at about 200k, not including the drivers car.
the biggest miracle, of course is that this happened at 12:30 on a saturday afternoon, at the largest lexus dealership in the western united states and that no one was seriously injured or killed.

That sounds believable but why doesn't the car have plates on it? I'm talking about the car that went airborne, it has the dealer plate on the back and not the normal plate.
