How do you know that, and how do you know that they don't peel anymore?

I'm not familiar with the iforged situation, but any clear coat can peel under the right (or in this case wrong) circumstances. My dealer has paid to repair my wheels twice because they can't realize that chrome cleaner does not work well on non-chrome wheels!

Any clear coat can chip/peel if you use any kind of chemical, if you just use water to clean the wheels the clear coat will not chip.

Yup... just use your basic soapy water to clean ur wheels..... nothing special is needed..

my friend took his IS300 to a car wash once, and whatever chemical they used to clean the wheels... it ended up taking off the color off his stock calipers.... now they kind of look like they are rusting...

Just soap and water were used, no chemicals. They should have
not peeled.
