Can anyone with the AMG airbox on a 430 tell me if the sound changes at all? Do you get more intake grunt under harder acceleration?

Personally, I noticed no difference. When I first installed it I thought it might have sounded/felt a little different but I think it was mostly placebo effect.

I n my experience there is usually a small change in sound under heavy throttle due to more unrestricted airflow, thus more grunt. I am still looking for an AMG airbox for mine so if anyone has one let me know.

I didn't notice any change in sound from the airbox alone, but the airbox + K&Ns made it a bit more aggressive. It's still a closed filter box so not much sound escapes even with the freer airflow.
