2001 CLK 430 Cabriolet
lighting upgrades
Alright......after much reading of forum info and many websites and long distance calls, as well as discussions with my local mechanic I've ordered lighting parts for my 2001 CLK430 Cab. Spyder Black Halos, (halogen projectors with CCFL halos), projector fogs, and LED rears. My mechanic, (Long time certified MB mechanic), indicates the only problem he will encounter will be the bulb warning indicator. I will let the forum know how it turns out.....if it's a massive fail you will read about it in our local paper.....something like.... "Man burns down repair shop prior to jumping off bridge"......

-EvoX-R bi-xenon projectors with E55 shrouds inside OEM headlight housings.
-Parking bulbs in turn indicator section in OEM headlights.
-Clear US-spec sidemarkers with Euro-spec parktronic.
-Dual filament bulbs (brake and tail lights) and bulb holders in rear foglight section.
-Bulb and bulb holder in outter corner of rear light assy.
