how can I turned off the passenger airbag for child seat?
Hi Guys
I've searched all over to find away of turning off the airbag on the passenger side front seat.?
Im in the UK and its not legal to have a car seat in the front if the airbag is still active. I know you can buy a Mercedes child seat that has the transponders fitted that will turn off the airbag automatically but they are very expensive and don't want to spend £300+ !!
On my older Mers you used to be able to flick a switch to shut the airbag off but in the newer Mercs this is no longer the case.
Does anyone know if there is a mod that can be done to turn off just the passenger airbag,? is there a connector or fuse that I can pull perhaps?
