Guys, just got in my trunk after about 45 minutes of working that stupid key. Trunk wouldn't open, neither using remote or key, but alas it opened. Now the light in center console for the trunk stays on, it was doing this before, and I had to jump it today. Center light is still on, I believe this may have caused dead battery. !! Afraid to close trunk... Also checked trunk fuses in trunk, they're good.

Well never mind, did every check, got the key back in after I closed the trunk. Was sitting in car and tried the trunk release button, and wholly crap, it popped open. Remote and all works now, for how long who knows. These cars have issues sometimes. Hope this temp fix lasts all year long...
