extra Dome Light
Hi guys,
By any chance does anyone have a dome light for sale for a CLK cabrio.
I broke mine and is now hanging i can probably crazy glue it back up, but the small map light slot also broke, the bulb wasn't sitting right and melted the plastic.

I don't have one for sale, but as an FYI:
The rear view mirror has a metal clip that sorta clips onto a corresponding metal "bolt" just in front of the headliner. Then a C-shaped plastic retainer fits in place (with little rubber feet) to stabilize the mirror. In the rearview mirror, that clip can be constricted a little to restore a good grip.
It's unfortunate, but I've never found that C-shaped plastic piece for sale on it's own (mine was brittle and cracked/broken in several places). However, if you are able to restore a good hold for the mirror you can get by for a bit until you can source a replacement mirror/retainer combo.
