Mercedes CLK430
13 Pin Transmission Adapter
Can anyone help me with this. My car is on jack stands right now. When I change out the 13 PinTransmission Adapter, will the computer need to be reset? Or can I just takeoff the Negative Battery Cable for 10 Seconds or so and that will do it?

As far as I know, you do not need to do Reset or disconnect the battery, just replace the connector. Make sure you do not over tighten it. I believe the 7mm bolt needs torque of 2.5 NM.

No problem, just make sure your ignition is switched off whilst you replace it. Very careful with that small little bolt. You might loose a small amount of ATF, but maybe now's the time to also do a filter and oil change.
