I picked up one of these on ebay for less then $300 shipped about a month ago around boxing day.

Now I'm just collecting the SWI Jack parts to keep my steering wheel controls and a few other harnesses and adapters and I'll give this thing a go. I'm planning on using a signal converter to use the original BOSE amp.

Words of advice dude, extent the wires for the converter boxes so you can tuck them in various crevices, that will help when trying to push the new one back in, it's very tight back there. Oh, then wrap the wires to each box in electrical tape, basically making a factory looking harness... This isn't for looks, it's to keep the wires from going everywhere, looks are a plus though.
