What to do first?
Question: What to I have to do first, second, third, etc?
Brakes? Wheels/Rims? Shocks? Springs?
I know they all tie in together but since the wife is only going to let me do this once, I am looking at puting a whole package together instead of piecemealing it.
The interior is another whole story..
1. Tires and wheels - they'll look great but you'll hate the gap in the wheel wells.
2. Lowering and suspension (bars, shocks, springs, etc.)- improves handling and solves one problem created above but does nothing to add back the power you lost with the heavier tires and wheels (unless you go with something lighter than stock which is BONUS!)
3. Chip and remove resonator - solves potential second problem from #1 and makes car as fun to drive as it now looks.
Body kits, stereo and interior mods - Don't do much for me but to each his own.
Good luck!
Where is MMGrad?
I need his vote..he's already done eveything and changed it all twice
Well, it all depends on what your budget is...
If limited, this is what I recommend:
#1: Painted side markers (if pre '00 model, Go To #2) & V8 Badges for fenders & debadge trunk
#2: Suspension (stock 17s look good on lowered car) & stiff roll bars
#3: 19" wheels (19s look funny on stock suspension, so do suspension first)
#4: Exhaust system
#5: evosport Pulley Kit to recover some of that lost power from heavier wheels
#6: Xenon Headlights (if you currently have Halogens) & xenon-like driving lights
#7: - Various interior mods from Shift Knobs, Chrome Shift Gates, Illuminated Door Sills
- Euro Pimp Steve (COMAND, Steering wheel, etc...)
#8: If you into show, get some ground effects (body kit), else, Go TO #10
#9: Big Brake Kit
#10: Kleemann SuperCharger
There are so many more mods you can get, but these are just some I can think of as of now...
