Question Motorola V Phone

Have a 2001 CLK55 with Command integration and the Timeport Motorola Phone system. I have heard that the new system utilizes the Motorola V Phone and there is a cradle without a cable to connect to when in the car. Does anyone know if you can have your Timeport System upgraded to the V Phone system currently?

2001+ Model Year vehicles are upgradable to the V60 phones. You will need a new phone (handset), cradle/cord Kit and a new PSE (Phone Support Electronics) module. Not a cheap upgrade in the least.

The V60 does dock into a cradle without the need to manually connect a cable to the phone. It is a much better system than the Timeport and Startac's used.
