hi, my mechanic accidently ripped the paper that covers the gear selector. anyone know how to get one or selling theirs? i'm worried that one day i might have a major spill

 

On a 2000+ the part unfortunately isn't a separate order. I checked into order small parts for mine - I broke the interlock door and you have to order the entire assembly which is insane. I believe the vinyl slider can't be ordered for this model. I posted a link below which is for a 1999 which has the part listed as a "Shutter" I can't see why it wouldn't work if you take your gear selector apart and put the part in. They can't be that different.
