2000 CLK 320. steering power and seat module problem

hi, i bought a clk 320 3 days ago. the steering wheel is kind of hard to turn, not to hard, it does not seem to be broken or anything, i checked the steering fluid, it shows full. it is not that hard that i can't drive but compared to my family's ml320 it is hard. any ideas on how to fix this?

also the passenger side seat is moving up/down, but not forward or backward. any ideas on this? all the buttons are working the head goes up and down, the spine lays and stands, only backward and forward is not working.

thank you in advance.

the seat not moving is probably the middle motor under the seat....there are three....you could possibly undo two bolts at the front of the seat and tilt the seat back and then tap on the middle motor with like a small hammer which could free the mechanism and if that doesn't work then its a new motor.....the bolts on the seat are a little hard to get to depending on where the seat is sitting at the moment...hope that helps a little
