I had custom fatty spacers made for my rims and there are no wheel bolts long enough on the market (not even H&R). I've researched about every option and the only way I see a solution is getting them custom machined. I talked to a machine shop and they said it would be an easy part to make, but they wouldn't do it because of liability issues.
Does anyone know of a machine shop that does good work, that would take on a project like this. I hate having 4 grand in wheels sitting in my garage. Any suggestions?
Thanks

question is, if you were going to spend $4,000 on wheels, why didn't you get wheels that fit perfectly without spacers?Originally posted by cl_kruisin

Bolts are indeed easy to make, but, the longer the bolt, the more chance for it to get deformed under harsh conditions...
So we can get a better understanding of the situation:
- How big are your spacers?
- How long of bolts do you need?
- What is the wheel's offset?
The spacers double as adapters. They are hub centric, so it's not like they would be spaced way out and unsupported.
At the momemt I don't remember exactly how long I need the bolts, but the rear spacer is 1.5" wide (front should be fine). It had to be an extra half inch wide because they f'd up and sent me the wrong offset.
So my only option is to find a machine shop to make some bolts.
Thanks

If someone else screwed up and sent you the wrong offset, send them back for the right one. A half inch is a lot to make up witha spacer.Originally posted by cl_kruisin

I wish I could. I called them up and they said they don't even make the offset they advertised and the offset I bought. I didn't think it would be a problem since I "thought" I could get wheel bolts made. It's been about 6 months, so sending them back probably won't happen. I just need to find an interested machine shop.
