Air conditioning not blowing cold

Picked up a 2001 CLK 430 today for my girl as a fun around town car. The a/c doesn't blow cold.

I've done lots of searching, (actually for the past 3 hours).

Things I know.

The compressor kicks on and off as it should. I put a gauge on the freon line in the engine compartment and it's got good pressure.
The heater works, the vents work. When turn the temps down the air temp doesn't change.

The air coming out is actually hotter than ambient air. Today the outside was 79, and the air coming out the vents was 97.

I'm leaning to think that the heater is some how on at the same time as the a/c causing it not to blow cold.

Unfortunately most of the pixels are out on the display to get the numbers for the diagnostic mode. I can get into the mode but not enough pixels to figure out what stuff says.

I ordered a new climate control cluster off ebay that has a good display.

Anyone else know of where to start?

Ok I've hooked up my star system. Everything looks good except for it shows two fault codes

B1234 - sun sensor open circuit
B1235 - smog sensor open circuit

Anyone know anything about where these are located or maybe something came loose since they both read open circuit.

Get a recharge. I fixed my issue which was similar. Under $100. I have a friend recharge mine every spring because I have a miniscule leak and dont care to pursue fixing it at the moment. Especially because your pixels are down...this would be a good place to start.

I noticed today mine wasn't blowing so cold either. I saw a line with a cap on it but when I took the cap off it didn't look like I could screw a refrigerant line on it. Which line is the fill line

After hooking up star I was able to read the values of everything on my computer. It would appear that the pressure is low in the system. Number 7 giving a 4 or 5 readout.

I'm going to have the system evacuated and see how much comes out, then refilled and go from there. All the other sensors seemed to be spot on temp wise.
