Window Regulators & Rivets

Looking for some feedback on how to re-install rivets into the door panel where the window motor and regulator mount up. My window got jammed recently and i think it put quite a strain on the motor as 3 out of 4 rivets holding the motor in are bent and loose. This causes my window not to fully roll up and also causes it to slide off the tracks. Has anyone done this recently or in the past and can provide some wisdom? I will post pictures up tonight of the rivets so you can all get a visual sense of what i'm referring to.

If you can replace the rivets with nuts and bolts it is easier.
Most rivets in the door are quite large and require a special rivet gun. A paint and body shop normally has these.
Make sure to Loctite the bolts if you decide to go this route.

I'm definitely going to try and just bolt the window back instead of the rivets. Rivets look like an absolute PITA. Bolts should hold especially with the loctite.

Well I ended up replacing the rivets with some nuts and bolts and they seem to hold the regulator to the door quite well. Locktite over top and i'm back in business. Still trying to line up the window so it sits perfectly level and rolls all the way up. Right now when I roll it up it sits about 5mm short of the rubber seal on the door frame. No matter how much I adjust it I can't seem to figure it out.

Anyhow, while I had the door cards off I figured I would install some new shiny bits...I think they look good!
