I blew the roof bow latch actuator when I decided to lower the top with my laptop sitting on the roof. (Actually blew the laptop too but that's a different forum) laptop stuck between the roof and the deck lid and fluid started spilling all over the trunk lid. So... I've rebuilt the cylinder, but haven't gotten into the pump yet to see how much fluid I need. I can't get 7.1 locally but I did find chf202. So i need to replace all of it.
I've been doing a lot of research on the properties of hydraulic fluids and I'm about 98‰ sure that chf7.1 is 2.5w10 motorcycle shock oil. (Not to be confused with fork oil) so I'm comfortable topping up with shock oil if i need to, or I may replace all with 202. 202 is green tho.... I'd hate to blow green juice all over the car when the next seal goes.
