Passenger door access
I have a 2000 MB CLK320 coupe and the passenger door is not opening from outside. It opens form inside. Also I'm having problems with the tilting device (handle on side) to allow access to the back seats. I bought the car two years ago and is on my house garage in Puerto Rico. I actually live in Hillsboro, OR and use the car when I'm back to PR. Need some help on this!!

Taking the door card off is simple. This way you can get a good look at the mechanism. You can also take off the silver place neat the window edge and take a peek with a flashlight. Have you done any work to the door pins lately?

This might be a silly question but have you pressed the unlock twice on the remote? Mine wont open the passenger door unless the remote unlock is pressed twice....also if the handle is not letting the seat tilt forward....take the back of the seat off...two screws down the bottom and two clips on the side and it comes off you will cables with adjusters on them......adjust and see if that helps....my drivers seat would tilt after lifting the handle and that is what I did and now works.. hope that helps
