H&R Sway Bars are crafted from the highest tensile strength steel-alloy available (50CrV4), which translates to fast feedback response time, guaranteeing smooth transitional sway bar function.
H&R Sway Bars are precision engineered and manufactured in Germany, and are incredibly strong and durable. Each sway bar is cold-formed and heat-treated, with forged, seamless bar ends. H&R then shot-peens the sway bars to increase durability and check for dimensional correctness.
*Price subject to change.
**To the contiguous United States.

The Bars are 28mm and 18mm respectively. You will have to inspect the size of the OEM bar to justify any gain.
Any increase in bar diameter gives more tension strength while cornering, It will not make you a better driver but give more confidence when needed, Some of my best autocross times were on loose ball joints.
I am going to measure my AMG bars to see any benefit. It is easy to do with a crecent spanner and metric tape measure or metric caliper.
It is a fair price but a group buy might make it sweeter.

Hey Gator, did you measure the AMG bars? same size as the H&R? I've been curious.
How hard would it be to install new sway bars? I think I heard that the rear is pretty complicated, like some big things need to move out of the way.

Hi jonufo2,
I just did it The front bar best fit was a 1.25" wrench - 4-5mm, Rear bar was 1" - 2- 3mm. Estimate
Just getting home from work, all night long it has been a 22 hour day for me. My cell
phone is completely dead or I would convert this easy. It has been some time since I have posted on MBworld as projects change. But I am loyal to these cars.
There is a 03 CLK 430 W208 AMG trim w/nav cab mint 85,000 close to us at a friends lot if interested might be available wholesale. top needs hydraulic work (perfect canvas) and the drivers seat is not perfect.
Cheers
I measured on the cross section of the bar which takes on all the torsion, The bar ends are tapered to comfort different driving conditions. The mention of 28mm and 18mm in the previous post are from the website but measured where? I measured where the bar works the hardest and matters most. hmmm!
To remove the rear bar it is necessary to lower the differential or loosen the rear frame from the car. On a lift one might fish it out with less dis assembly.
Cheers Again, Going out for the count
