What's the impedence of the stock speakers?
Just a quick question:
Is the stock speaker impedence (resistence) 2ohm? 4ohm? or 8ohm?
Thinking about replacing the existing speakers with some infinity kappas and I want to make sure i don't over heat/damage the stock amp.
Actually are the fronts powerd by separate amp or solely by the command head unit?

if the stereo system in your 2000 is the same as my 1999, then all the speakers are powered by the amp that is located on the driver's side rear of the trunk, behind the lining. And if they are the same impedance in both years, they should be 6 ohms.
