Tele Aid - removing error message?

I'm aware the MB dealer can update your tele aid to digital for the ballpark of $1000.

I get an error message for tele aid every time I start my car. Is there a way to remove the error message? Does everyone else with a w208 deal with the annoying error message every time they start up their car since the service was upgraded to digital?

Did you remove the phone connection in the center console?

No, I've never received the error message but I don't have the PSE or phone cradle installed either.

I just have the plug for an outdated phone in the center console.

I get 2 error messages on start up
1- Tele aid not activated
2- Tele aid visit workshop

Has anyone removed the tele aid fuse and reinstalled it? I know this option is tied to the ABS and causes an ABS malfunction while the fuse is out. It would be nice if pulling the fuse would be enough to clear the error message.

Not sure about nowadays. In the past dealers had been able to code the vehicle as 'teleaid not present'. That got rid of the error for those that never utilized the service.
