deck lid spoiler?

I have a question fellas...........I really like the 2000 BMW M3 small deck lid spoiler. It is small and clean looking. It is not as bulky compared to the Lorinser deck lid spoiler. Will the M3 wing fit the CLK trunk lid? Anyone attemp this befor? I was thinking about ordering the M3 deck lid spoiler and modify it to fit my car. Any suggestion anyone?

I don't think it will fit. But it will be cool though.

Plus, i believe for the bimmer you wouldn't likely go to an aftermarket company (e.g. schnitzer), cause the one featured on an m3 for example is a BMW part, and is therefore more affordable ($300 v. $500+). I found one here: http://ebiz.netopia.com/crevierbmw/e...miccomponents/

You can...

I believe you can purchase the M3 decklid lip for fairly cheap from BMW as its a BMW part. As for fitment, all you need to do is measure the length of the decklid piece and see if it is correct according to the trunk length (bring a tape measure and measure someones M3 in a parking lot :P). As for the curvature of the decklid *** opposed to the Benz's rearend, you may have to check that out.

Thanks,
Rob

I saw on ebay for $37.00. Maybe I'll order it there and play with it. It's not that much. Go to ebay and type "bmw decklid spoiler" and you'll see which one I'm talking about.
