Yes. OEM assemblies are plug and play. IIRC you need to up the headlight fuse to the next highest capacity (verify this - I did this over a decade ago and my memory sucks). You won't have the self leveling or washer function, but you can manually aim them and since you'll be using OEM HID assemblies, you won't have the glare issues you would have by putting a cheapo kit into Halogen housings.

So you don't have OEM hid? Just the ballasts?

You should try to find a complete right side. The left side that you have complete will be the only one with the proper cutoff and beam pattern that won't blind oncoming drivers (especially necessary since you don't have self leveling). Not to mention, the headlights themselves won't look the same from the outside. Your halogen's lens looks very different from an HID lens.

I have the stock HID ballast and bulbs in the aftermarket Halo type light housings, it works fine, looks great. All I had to do was cut a slot for the large wire going to the bulb in the rubber boot that seals the bulb housing, and mount the ballast boxes to the bottom of the new housings with a couple small screws. I believe there are some adapter plates made for the bulb into the housing, but I was able to get them seated without that.

If you need this many questions answered, this probably isn't a project you're ready to take on yourself. If you're really interested in opening up the lights and retrofitting HID properly, the forums for you to be on are at theretrofitsource.com

jonuf02's solution of buying aftermarket projectors and putting the HIDs into those would work as the projectors at least have a better cutoff than the halogen lenses/reflectors. Those are made to accept a halogen bulb so at the very least you would need H7 hid bulbs and a wiring harness converter from your (I'm assuming Hella) ballasts to whatever connectors the bulbs use (amp > d2s, IIRC)

If you have one complete side, the easiest thing to do is look for the other side complete so you can just plug and play.

The self leveling feature requires sensors on the sway bars and another wiring harness and is a PITA to install. If you have a proper cutoff and aim the lights properly, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Either way, you need to either replace both housings with aftermarket projector housings, or find another OEM xenon assembly. You won't be able to do what you want to do with one complete OEM HID side and trying to stuff the bulb and ballast into a halogen side. The light pattern will be horrible and the lenses will be completely different. It will look very cheap/tacky.
