Lorinser DTM kit
In case you guys didn't notice yet, which isn't very likely, there is a Lorinser kit on eBay (front and rear) for sale. Not by/for me, but at it's current price, would be a steal for anyone interested.

Those aren't real lorinser, that is why they are cheap.
The rear bumper is not even the DTM version, its the standard one. The front bumper looks like a copy of the stock CLK 320 bumper with a lorinser replica lip added to it.

How do I know all this? I actually went to the guy's house and took a look at the kit. When I saw the front bumper, I told him that it looked like a stock 320 bumper. But I went outside to compare it to another tennant's 320 and it looked different. Then I saw the crack at the top, inbetween where the headlights rest. After all that, I had the owner of the kit go with me to a local body shop to get an estimate on installation/paint. The first thing the body shop manager said when he saw the kit was "damn. that's a piece of **** kit!" NO kidding. Then he said, if I really wanted to install that crap on my car, he would charge me $1500. I asked him his opinion, and he told me that if he drove a CLK, he definitely would NOT put that crap on his car.
SO bottom line is : DO NOT buy that kit from that guy on E-bay, or else you will end up selling it the same day you receive it, and you'll be out of your shipping costs.

did you read my post at all? i said that I went to the guy's house to take a look at it personally. I also said that I brought the kit , along with the owner, to a local body shop to get an estimate.

the main point of me taking the time to tell my fellow w208 owners is to WARN them. for them NOT to get dooped as the guy re-selling it on EBAY did.
