Performance Parts?
I have been lurking on these forums for a while but haven't seen a thread that catered to my needs.
I have a 2005 CLK 320 (stock) and I am looking to buy simple modifications. I have $2500 to spend but about $1000 might be going into AMG wheels and some good breaks.
As of now, it is sitting about 215hp. I was wondering what kind of modifications would get me close to 250hp (of course without supercharger).
I'm guessing, dual-intake, tune?
What else is there? What are some good intakes and tune?

To get to 250HP on a CLK320 without a SC will cost you allot of money as most of the parts would need to be fabricated. Check my threads and my members page where I've listed everything that I did. Things that are not made or sold anymore such as an aluminum crank pulley, underdrive pulleys, headers, air intake, full exhaust, and to bring it all in a custom ECU tune. Unless you go for an engine swap where people in Japan was trying to get me to put in either a 1JZ/2JZ engine in and tune but I just couldn't imagine mixing Japanese Engine with a European Car. But I'm not a racist though...lol

I posted Dyno numbers in a thread, you'll have to search for it but if I remember correctly I got around 15 HP out of the Aluminum Crank Pulley. Can't remember what I got out of Evo Sports Under Drive Pulley, it was so long ago.

Here's what you do: sell your 320, add the $2500, buy a V8 car and voila: instant performance upgrade! Probably more performance than you will ever get out of the V6. Oh yeah, and buy a W208 because W209 looks girly.
