Hey guys my friend has a 01 320 and it starts up and once it warms up the car dies. Any suggestions I'm thinking cam or crank sensor but what are your feelings. He said it's not throwing a CEL

Most likely crank sensor. Cam sensor sometimes throws a CEL, and that one isn't known for completely killing an engine.
What bothers me most about the crank sensor is not that it doesn't throw a CEL, but rather its extremely close proximity to the exhaust. I think being so close to a 500 degree exhaust has a lot to do with it dying on so many cars after about 50,000 miles.
