Another Trunk not Opening
I was able to get to the trunk using the removing of the tray on the rear shelf. I was hoping that the emergency escape would be working but it's not.
Anybody has any suggestions as far as what to use on the mechanical key for the trunk, I have been soaking it with wd40 for a day now but it's still not turning counter clock wise.
Thanks in advance

once the latch is free the trunk will lift up freely. you can disengage the latch and re-attach it to its original home. the whole system should work normally after that, at least it did for me. good luck!

Thanks Jackson, it worked just as you described.
Still not sure what happened, but there was some rust that I clean out and just as a precaution I added some white lube. It's been working ok since Saturday.
Thanks again, it's such a pain in the B@lls not having access to the trunk.
