Question Windows sticking in the rain?
I've noticed that when it's raining, my windows seem to go up and down much slower than when they're dry. The rain water on the glass seems to be causing friction which makes it difficut for the window to move both up and down. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is it something I should be worried about and is there anything I can do about it?

Any and all input is appreciated as always. Thanks.

It's a fairly common problem due to Mercedes creative engineering of lousy window moldings.

Yeah, not only that but they chatter and squeak horribly in the wet as well.

One thing that I wanted to add. Everytime after I washed my car, the inside of the windows also get wet. Do you of any have that problem??

You should bring that up to your dealer. Your windows may not be closed properly, or bad seals...

Leaks
Inside leaks are not normal. A friend with a 2000 CLK 320 had the same problem. I believe the dealer adjusted the windows, although replacing the seals would probably be a good idea as well.

Had this problem on my 2000 CLK430. I noticed that if I sprayed directly at the window seem between the window and the B-Pillar, water sneaks through the seal. If you avoid this direct angle, then the inside will remain dry.

Even if the problem may be normal, if you are under warranty, you should have your dealer investigate any concerns you have. You're supposed to wait until after warranty before you debate on which problems to fix
