Clear Bra Fabrication & Installation

Ok fellas, now that I have a new bumper to start with, I wanted to keep it looking good by protecting it a little....

Where can I go to get custom clear bra fabrications done? I want it to look good... I've seen some custom ones that look like *****... edges are all jagged and stuff...

I thought about StonGard, but they can only do custom work if the car is there, and they are located in Washington...

Bruce? Did you ever get a custom bra made for your car? any recommendations?

Danny, there is a place up here near my house that does that clear plastic armour stuff. I heard it's pretty good at protecting against rock chips and stuff. The only draw back is that is really expensive, and that the paint will fade less rapidly than the rest of your car.

Danny:

I'm having my rock chips repaired this weekend...also will have Star Shield install their invisible bra, they provide mobile service, but can do inhouse installation at their Irwindale office.

I've seen a StarShield clear bra on a W211 MB once, and the MB had a flat badge on the hood instead of the standing star... so the installer had to cut the hole bigger, and the hole was all jagged...

that kind of discouraged me from StarShield... especially considering that they send out their own reps to do the installs (I think)

Mark,
thanks for the list.... Now I just need to find which one of them is local to Socal so they can make a custom one for my Lorinser DTM bumper...

My #1 choice was going to be StonGard, but... they are too far away

OK...might hold up on the Star Shield & just repair the chips for now...let me know when you source out a quality installer in the So Cal area.

Thanks
Rich
