2001 CLK430
2001 CLK Brake Lights stuck on...HELP !!!
I bought CLK 430 convertible, change tires/wheels. My brake lights are staying on.....???

Anyone have this problem before?? Dash says bulb malfunction, But all lights working far as I can see......

Can you shift out of park without pressing the brake?

2001 CLK430
read here that it was most likely the brake light switch. Ordered one, picked it up about 5pm, have it installed, correct the problem.

It's usually a sign of a brake light switch that is stuck in the compressed position. Since you have already purchased that part it shouldn't be an issue. Let us know what the outcome of your repair is.
