New Benz Owner

I just took ownership over my father's 98 CLK 320 and the first thing that NEEDS to get done is rims. Can someone tell me what the proper offset is and whats the biggest size rims I can put on it without having to roll the fenders. Also what width wheels fit on the front and rear. I appreciate your help.

congrats on the new ride...
19s are the largest you can go without major modifications...

without rolling, 19x8.5 front/19x9.5 rear would be fine... both with a +35mm offset

For tires, 235/35/19 front & 265/30/19 rear...

as long as the offset is right, and you pick a nice round tire, you should have no problems with clearance (unless you slam your car).... if you lower it, just keep the drop within 2" and you should be fine clearing the fenders & everything... anything more than 2" and there will be contact...

Guess it depends on your wheel/tire and suspension setup.....I had 19X9 front and 19X10 rear with NITTO 555 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 rear, with H&R sport springs w/ bilstein shocks with absolutely NO rubbing. Oh...I did NOT have to roll the fenders as well.
