Thoughts On 2000 CLK 320
Any good used cars for sale in Texas. Thanks
)you will probably get quite a biased answer asking it in this forum... most will say coupe over sedan...
it really is up to you since you will be driving it... if you travel mostly by urself or with 1 passenger, a coupe will do and will look a hell lot better....
if u have kids or tend to have a fuller load in ur car, take the sedan... it really depends on what ur needs are...
208: looks
203: newer platform w/ possible upgrade to bi-zenons/c32 brakes
but overall the most important diff i think would be number of doors and warrenty. 2000 is most likely out of warrenty.

we have peeps on the forum upgrading their CLK with C32 brakes, as well as installing bi-xenon headlights...
I'm in the process of doing bi-xenon lights myself...
but, yes, you make a valid point about a warranty... I'd say, if you gonna buy a 2000 CLK, try to be on the lookout for one that has an extended warranty or a starmark warranty...
If they are not the same - can you provide me with a link showing a picture of them - preferable on a W208..
Thanks!

bi-xenon lights have a mechanism that rises when you hit the highbeam lever, and re-projects the light pattern so that it reaches a greater distance...
w208 clks don't come with any factory or aftermarket option for bi-xenons... you will have to fabricate your own bi-xenon headlights...
ur right i wasnt clear ...
by newer platform i meant steering and stiffness and as for bi-xenons and c32 brakes ... i just meant these are bolton and cheaper to get for the newer 203.
btw, the custom bi-xenons that you are making from CL will look HOTT - don't forget clear city lights.

btw - for me the 208 was perfect, hott engine, hotter looks.

City lights... I think I've got a new way method to match the city lights with the xenon lights we have... but, again, that will have to wait until I test it out and see how well that works...
Stay tuned for updates as they come...

I am surely glad my dad talked me into buying a benz at the dealer, sure you can find a clk for cheaper elsewhere but at the end when minor things go wrong, not to mention major problems, that warranty will make you sleep much better at night.Good luck,I just love the way the clk looks.
