Which exhaust system do you prefer:
can anybody tell me what Lorinser has that all the other exhaust dont have
Yah, i just checked EvoSport and the Lorinser runs at $1329 and $1391 for a 430 coupe. Ouch... sorta makes me wonder about the practicality of such an expensive mod. Btw, when i was looking around for the Lorinser prices, i noticed that they also sell weld on tips for $520. Do these do anything sound or performance wise?? Or else they ought to be made of pure gold or something.

at $520 for the tips... that would mean you can carry $520 less cash with you, so the weight savings will equal performance gains...
nah, Lorinser is way way expensive... same thing for Brabus & Carlsson... thats why they are premier tuners for benzos...
but com'on... a benzo ain't cheap by any means either...
Rip off, this is why Lorinser is baller.

real deal too... not no replica either....

Basically resembles the Eisenman or Brabus, and just like those two, i think it goes well with the clk styling

Anyways, since I'm the one that started this thread, I believe I'm gonna go with the Eisenmann exhaust. Anybody have one they want to sell me? My car is coming out of the shop on Tuesday =)

Lorinser has the LORINSER name. People that buy it can afford it. Just like Louis Vuitton's $1400 purses. Is it better quality than the $300.00 Coach one? I don't think so. It's because the purse has got LV stamped all over the damn thing.

Has anyone seen or owned the Carlsson exhaust posted on their website (it differs from the Carlsson exhaust pic'd earlier)

I have an AMG exhaust for the CLK w208 if you are interested.
theine: So, is the exhaust nice growl and not annoying down the road. I want the car to have a nice growl but not to noise. This isn't no Honda civic.

.............LOL! Dayum, I wish I was really a baller.......I would have bought the bentley GT right now. I love that car.
.........Back to the Lorinser exhaust, while I have received very good info and advise from this forum, I have also been steering into very wrong and expensive paths. So I am very sensitive about folks who post advice and answers to questions based on conjecture and who have ACTUIALLY NOT DONE what they are talking about. This is an open forum so everyone can say what they want, but I think since a fellow forum member can be led astray, I think folks should be careful and not pose as experts on issues they have very little knowledge. So, many of my posts are things that I have actually done and know what works and doesn't. Did not mean to appear arrogant or seem like I'm bragging.

You know if you don't put 3 cars w/ same mods together, it's a little bit hard to tell. Thanks for your reply in advance.
(Oh, I am in LA, if the sound is too loud, it gets cops' attention too easily.)
I wouldn't recommend getting a second hand one either, I would feel awfully sorry for the poor soul who sells one to him when he starts another inflammatory thread about how this and that screwed up/went bad blablabla, you catch my drift?

Can you comment more on the Lorinser exhaust in terms of quality, sound, and fitment. You mentioned that you have been steered, at times, in the wrong direction. Perhaps you can elaborate specifically for the Lorinser if you are content with the Lorinser, despite its price tag, in regards to quality, sound, and fitment.
Thanks.

How is the g55 by the way?heard you put a kleeman SC in it...
