I am finally to the point where I am thinking of adding things to my 2002 clk 430 to get increased hp, anyone out there that has gone to the extreme but kept the hop up parts they tried...give me some clues as to what it is, what it will do, and the cost. I always said I was going to leave it stock (since I have other cars that I toy with), but I am looking for moderate changes that I can do cheaply.

I don't know about used, but evosport's pulley set gives good bang for the buck...

josh...(or others that looked at the string)...have you heard anything about stage 1 or stage 2 from renntech? would love the under the hood supercharger but not at 18k.

the pulleys underdrive (give less power to) the water pump, power steering pump, and alternator to give you 13hp more in 1st, 9hp in 2nd, and 7hp in 3rd
