Top speed
does anyone know wat top speed is on the clk 430. i think my car topped out at 135 but i thought it was supposed to govern at 155

The governor for the 430 is set a 135.

155 top speed is set for the current AMG cars...

135, 140 depending on the size of your tires installed. Speed limiter easily removed :p Vegas drive nice at 160.

Mr X... what method did you use to remove your limiter???

Any low cost solution? Don't really want to have to chip the car just to get the limiter removed...

LOL yes my car is chipped. I have a friend who does custom chips. If you need one done at a reasonable price let me know. So far the chip has done well with my supercharger kit, he can alter just about anything in the MBZ software.

I took an extended lunch break to drive from Santa Monica to Huntington Beach to pick up my brakes from evosport, so I was time pressured...

Ben did let me sneak a peek at the Beast, and it looked fabulous... and whats more impressive is that the Beast will soon be ready to stretch her feet..

no pics... i didn't have my camera with me that day... yes.. bonehead move...

does ur friend's ECU remappings detectible by MB diagnostics tests??? I know powerchip remappings aren't detectible...

I'm just worried about warranty here...
